110th Attack Wing 2016 Awards Town Hall
The 110th Attack Wing, Battle Creek, Mich., had their annual town hall meeting December 3, 2016. During this event Senior Airman Trenton Whitaker is being recognized for Outstanding Individual Safety Contributions. Senior Airman Whitaker is from the 110th Operational Support Squadron. This award recognizes any 110th Attack Wing member that has significantly contributed to the base’s safety culture beyond his or her work-center. Senior Airman Whitaker was instrumental in safeguarding the Wing’s first ground control station. He stepped in at a critical moment during offloading operations to properly secure restraint while the GCS was being transferred. His assertive action was further essential in safely positioning the critical asset into the new facility thereby greatly contributing to the unit’s push toward initial operating capability in the MQ-9.
