9-11 Memorial Ceremony

Service members from the Battle Creek Air National Guard Base, Mich., pay tribute on the anniversary of September 11, 2001 eleven years later on Tuesday, September 11, 2012. Airmen, civilians, faculty, and students from Starbase gathered around the flagpole at exactly 9:37 a.m., the exact time Flight 77 crashed into the Pentagon killing all 59 passengers on board, as well as, 125 military and civilian personnel inside the building, and severely wounding 106 more in the ensuing fire. 110th Members saluted then bowed their heads in prayer to honor and remember those who lost their lives in the attack and those who gave their lives in the line of duty.
