Senator Peter meets the troops at the 110th Attack Wing
Sen. Gary Peters visits the Battle Creek Air National Guard Base, Wednesday, April 1, 2015, Battle Creek, Mich. Sen. Peters received briefings from the 110th Attack Wing Commander Col. Ronald Wilson, Fort Custer Commander Lt. Col. Mark Gorzynski and other group commanders within the wing. Briefing and tour included developing capabilities for Remote Piloted Aircraft, Ballistic Missile Defense, and Domestic Disaster Response operational planning. Numerous community leaders accompanied the senator during his tour and overview of Fort Custer to include former U.S. Congressman Joe Schwartz, former U.S. Rep. Mark Schauer, Mayor Debbie Owens, Battle Creek Unlimited' s Jan Franz, Battle Creek's Assistance City Manager Ted Dearing and the Roosevelt Group's Chris Goode were prominent with their active support during the discussions.(U.S. Air National Guard Photo by Master Sgt.
