SAPR Walk-A-Mile Event

110th Attack Wing members participate in a "Walk-A-Mile" event on base as a show of support for those who have been affected by sexual asault and in conjunction with DoD's Annual Sexual Assault Awareness Month Thursday, April 13, 2017, Battle Creek Air National Guard Base, Mich. The walk preceded an information presentation in the Wellness Center Auditorium by Ms. Angela Tomasko, a Training Specialist with the Prosecuting Attorneys Association of Michigan (PAAM). Ms. Tomasko is a survivor of a sexual assault who has used her experience as a survivor to provide first-hand insight into the physical, mental, social and spiritual impacts of assault. Her story provides the valuable tools that can be used to support a friend, family member or wingman who may be living with the effects of sexual assault.
